NEW ALBUM - SLAVES TO THE GRAVE - OUT OCT.7TH, 2014!
RIGOR MORTIS will release their 4th and final album on Oct. 7th, 2014.
Recorded in Feb 2012 at Ministry's 13th Planet Studios in El Paso, Texas, SLAVES TO THE GRAVE returns to the original first record line-up of Mike Scaccia - Guitars, Bruce Corbitt - Vocals, Harden Harrison - Drums, and Casey Orr - Bass.
In addition to the studio cd, the first 2500 copies will include a "making of" dvd.

Rigor Mortis is asking for your support. We are in the final stages of bringing our 4th and final record, SLAVES TO THE GRAVE, to the masses, and we're asking you to help us make that happen. We are putting this record out on our own, and as we're sure you can imagine, this takes funding.
The record is done, and the art and packaging are being put together, but the bills are stacking up and there are more coming soon. So we've started a fundraising campaign through Indiegogo to raise the funds needed to pay for the recording, manufacture, distribution, and promotion of the record. We are offering tons of cool perks as rewards for your support at all levels of donation. For instance at $20 you will recieve a signed copy of SLAVES TO THE GRAVE and making of DVD. RIGOR MORTIS, R.I.P. - LIFE AFTER DEATH
On December 22rd, 2012, while playing onstage with Rigor Mortis in celebration of our singer, Bruce’s 50th birthday, Rigor Mortis guitar player Mike Scaccia suffered a sudden and massive heart attack. He was pronounced dead a short time later. Rigor Mortis was over. Mike died doing what he loved, playing his music with his friends, and for his friends. Some 20 years since the last Rigor Mortis record, and just days before he left us, Mike was able to put the finishing touches on his tracks to what would unfortunately be his, and Rigor Mortis', final... and unquestionably finest, studio record. SLAVES TO THE GRAVE.
The impact that Mike had on all that knew him is immeasurable. In life he touched us all with his talent and his sense of humor and his friendship. His passing changes everything for many of us. There will never be a fifth Rigor Mortis record. We will never play another show together as Rigor Mortis. Worst of all, we’ll never laugh the way we used to.
But we will keep the flame burning. For Mike, for his family, for ourselves, and for the fans. We will never perform again as RIGOR MORTIS, but from time to time we may bring life to the songs as THE WIZARDS OF GORE, with our good friend (and the only guitarist that knows Scaccia's style inside and out) Mike Taylor on guitar, with guest appearances by Doyle Bright and others.
